  1. Acceptance of Terms

    Your access to and use of (“the Website”, “Artem conservation”) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website.

  2. Acceptable use policy

    2.1 Services provided by us may only be used for lawful purposes.

    You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in connection with your use of the services and the webpage. Any material or conduct that in our judgment violates this policy in any manner may result in suspension or termination of the services with or without notice.

    2.2 Prohibited use:

    2.2.1. You may not use content or engage in activity that is illegal under applicable law, that is harmful to others, or that would subject us to liability, including, without limitation, in connection with any of the following, each of which is prohibited under this AUP:

    2.2.2. Phishing or engaging in identity theft

    2.2.3. Distributing computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious code Promoting or facilitating violence or terrorist activities.

    2.2.4. Infringing the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others

    2.3 Enforcement

    Your services may be suspended or terminated with or without notice upon any violation of this policy.

    2.4 Changes to Website reserves the right to:

    2.4.1. Change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal.

    2.4.2. Change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.

  3. Terms

    3.1. “Buyer”

    Means the person or company named in the quotation that buys or agrees to buy the goods or services from the Seller.

    3.2. “Company”

    Means The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio Ltd.


    Means the price for the goods or services in accordance with the quotation, or variation thereof agreed in writing between the Seller and the Buyer.

  4. Quotations

    4.1. All quotations are valid for a period of 90 days.

    4.2. Quotations are based on the cost of material, labour and transport where applicable.

    4.3. All quotations are valid once they are accepted by the Buyer and the Company.

  5. Payment

    5.1. A buyer that hold a credit account with The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio LTD, must make sure that the payment shall be made in full within 30 days of receipt of the invoice by the Company.

    5.2. All Buyers not covered by section 2.1 shall pay to The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio LTD on completion of work or on the same day as to the buyer’s collection or delivery.

  6. Storage

    6.1. Any items remaining at The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio LTD premises for 28 days following an assessment report or work/services are completed will be subject to a charge of £9 per item per week unless otherwise agreed by the Company and the Buyer in writing.

  7. Delivery

    7.1. Any delivery dates or times set out are estimates only.

  8. Copyright

    All copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in the Website and its content (including without limitation the Website design, text, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the Website) are owned by or licensed to or otherwise used by as permitted by law.

  9. Use of Photography for Marketing Purposes

    9.1. The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio LTD reserves the right to use any images of items and artwork photographed or recorded by The Paper and Paintings Conservation Studio LTD for marketing purposes unless instructed by the client in writing.

    9.1. Please, communicate if you do not wish to be taken any images during the project process.

  10. Advice

    The contents of do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.

  11. Force Majeure

    Neither party shall be liable for any default due to an act of God, war, strike, lock-out, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest, or any event beyond their reasonable control.

  12. Governing Law

    This agreement is governed by and to be construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
